Foly Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

Foly is a family of focused digital products. This policy explains how the website at foly.today works, how analytics consent is handled, and how this differs from the Foly Screenshot browser extension.

Plain-language summary: Foly.today may use Google Analytics and Microsoft/Bing analytics only after you accept analytics cookies. Foly Screenshot, the browser extension, captures screenshots locally and does not upload screenshots, use extension analytics, or require an account.

1. Who operates Foly

Foly is managed and operated by Dowlaty Ali, located in Budapest, Hungary.

Privacy contact: [email protected]

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to the Foly website at foly.today, the product website for Foly Screenshot at screenshot.foly.today where linked, and privacy-related support requests sent to Foly.

Each Foly product may have its own product-specific policy or privacy section. If a product-specific policy is more specific, that product policy controls for that product.

3. Foly Screenshot extension

Foly Screenshot is a browser extension for Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox. It captures full-page screenshots and saves PNG files locally on your device.

  • No account is required.
  • Screenshots are not uploaded to Foly.
  • Captured page content is not sent to Foly.
  • The extension does not use analytics, advertising pixels, behavioral tracking, cloud sync, or FolySEO transfer.

4. Website analytics

The Foly website may use Google Analytics and Microsoft/Bing analytics to understand aggregate website performance and improve the website. The Google tag is loaded with Consent Mode defaults set to denied so Google can detect the installation and respect your choice. Analytics storage is granted only after you choose Accept analytics in the consent window. Microsoft/Bing analytics is loaded only after consent.

If you choose Reject analytics, analytics scripts are not loaded by this website.

5. Cookies and consent

Foly.today stores your analytics consent choice in your browser so the website can remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics. You can change your choice using the Cookie Settings link in the header or footer.

Essential technical storage may be used where necessary to provide security, remember consent, or operate the site. Analytics storage is optional.

6. Hosting and security logs

Standard hosting, DNS, CDN, or security systems may process technical information such as IP address, user-agent, request time, requested URL, error logs, and security event logs. This technical data is used for security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and reliable operation of the website.

7. Support emails

If you contact us at [email protected], we may process the information you choose to send, such as your email address, name if provided, message, and technical details you voluntarily include. We use this information to respond to your request, provide support, investigate issues, and maintain necessary records.

Please do not send passwords, API keys, payment information, medical information, private client data, or other sensitive information in support emails.

8. Legal bases for processing

For users in the EU/EEA or UK, the legal bases may include consent for optional analytics, legitimate interests for security and basic website reliability, and legal obligation where records are needed to comply with applicable law.

9. Data we do not sell

We do not sell personal data. We do not use screenshots, captured page content, or browser activity to create advertising profiles. Foly Screenshot extension data is not used for targeted advertising.

10. Third-party services

The website may link to external product pages or browser stores. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies. The Foly Screenshot extension does not send screenshots or captured page content to those services.

11. Data retention

Extension screenshots are not retained by Foly because they are not sent to us. Consent choices remain in your browser until you clear site data or change your choice. Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security and reliability.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and the data involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Because Foly Screenshot does not upload screenshots, many requests will not apply to screenshots stored only on your device. For website analytics, support emails, or other data under our control, contact [email protected].

13. Children’s privacy

Foly products are general productivity tools and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through Foly Screenshot.

14. Changes to this policy

If Foly changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated and the date above will change.

15. Contact

For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
